Hi my name is Mudd and I am a bowaholic.
I thought I was in remission but alas I have had a relapse.
I tell you as a warning, if it can happen to me, it can happen to you as well.
Man! Does it ever feel good to get a fix...lol
God bless,Mudd
PS: I'm working on showing the evidence against me.
A good cure is no money and nothing to pawn off lol.
Oh I almost forgot, congrats.
Dont be selfish Mudd!, what is the fix! Im starting to feel the need for one myself! :biglaugh: :biglaugh:
I'm gettin' the shakes...bad...
You guys are no help at all.
My wife and kids think I need some kinda therapy. I do, time to make another bow! If I'm not building one I am thinking about building one.
One of my stumbling blocks....lol

Just hope you didn't sustain any injuries from the wagon fall.
3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
had to look it up, pretty bow :)
So, what is your point? Did you really assume you would somehow avoid the obvious. Seems as though you have not figured out you are preaching to the choir. Ha!
Things do happen in 3's...lol
God bless,Mudd
When I go to the archery shop my wife tells me " Remember you are trying to save up for your bear hunt this fall . " :knothead:
The biggest difference between a bowaholic and other addicts is they can't sell there fix once they've used it. Ain't it grand.
Well, the difference between a pessimist and an optimist: a pessimist is afraid that he can't resist and will buy some more bows, an optimist hope he does.... :)
This was my last temptation I couldn't resist :dunno: :

It is easy to see why that one would draw you to it Ad.
It looks like it fits the "bill" as a bow harlot's dream.....lol
Thanks for sharing.
God bless,Mudd
Mudd you cant go wrong with a David Miller longbow, I own four with another coming in a few months.I get relapses all the time and their is no cure only treatment.
I only have ten (10) bows... Five recurves and five longbows... That is my limit! ... ... But, then, Whittingham is sooo close... HELP ME!
"I Don't Need Another Bow." :knothead: What To Do? :archer2: ...
although my wife thinks i have a serious addiction - she has said many many times that she is glad this is my addiction. I take that as being supportive of my illness and that i need constant fixes to keep the illness under control. I think she is starting to get tired of taking boxed to USPS for me.......
This insanity has got to stop! Quote from my wife,LOL. :scared:
I only have one thing to say: "get behind me satan...AND PUSH" !
I can quit buying/selling/trading... done it a 1000 times! ;)
Great looking sticks Mudd!
Just one more... and then I'll quit! :banghead:
Nice looking bows there Mudd, but I know what your third one is, and I'm not telling!!!!! HA HA HA
5 on the rack, one on the way, one being built, two on order and a Cari-Bow featherhorn is calling my name, must resist, LOL.
Now Im starting to get the shakes and wobbly in the legs :bigsmyl: Hope that helps a bit :biglaugh:

Hello
Congratulations
Dang Juan,
I have not seen you on here in a long time, how ya doing?
I just got in from shooting a Schulz that I have had for 38 years, after I shot my new Schulz(it still seems new to me, I got it in 1989). Then I see this, I thought you had an Expedition. One would think that would have been the end of the the bow buying. I think you need an intervention. But then that sage did look nice.
Here is the problem with me. I get a Hill style bow, shoot it like crazy, get frustrated as I can not shoot it as well as a recurve. Sooooo I trade it, sell it, or keep it and get another recurve. THEN, I regret it and get consumed with wanting another Hill that I see on the classifieds. It is a bizarre, never ending cycle. Am I the only one like this? Something about the Hill style bows I guess, but if I had only shot one bow all this time who knows how good I would be with it now? Maybe I am just as obsessed with the buying selling and trading?
Congrats Mudd! How cool are those new bows? WAY!
Keep coming back, it works if you work it.
Wow... what a sweet looking bow! Looks like your collections is complete... almost! :goldtooth:
JW
Sure glad that Sage is loved, and used.
It could not have found a better home !
Ralph
Great looking bows Mudd. I must see a couple of bows weekly come up that I'd really like to buy but you just can't buy them all. I've got a pretty good harem now but the itch does still strike frequently.
Very nice!
Mudd, I am curious, how heavy are those arrows you are shooting from that Sage? I have watched your videos with you alone, and then you and your buddy shooting the Sage and that is one quiet bow! Perfect poundage as well!! Also, what kind of "thump" or handshock do you get on that bow? I have only shot R/D longbows and have toyed with the idea of trying a hill style, but too many say they arent fond of the thumping they give them. Will just have to try one someday. Thanks for the input and I love watching your videos. Don
I am an addict.........and I do not need any help. I am happy and content with my addiction. My wife might say otherwise.........except she is addicted to dresses so she keeps quiet! :bigsmyl:
It is a win-win situation!
Bisch
Thanks for the kind words.
I don't own a bow that is anything but "dead in the hand" including "The Sage".
I shoot the same arrows out of all my bows, 55-60 spine 500 grain.
I would tell you the tip weight, if I remembered...lol (maybe 145 gr)
God bless,Mudd
There is no cure for this ailment.
For your next bow purchase try to find one that will give you a SHOCK TREATMENT! (either the price or when you loose an arrow!)
Nice bows Roy. The Sage is a work of art, but I bet the Tembo has some monster hog killin' mojo. ;)
