Hillbilly Deluxe is my last remaining zipper. It's a Bob Thompson creation. I'll post one up when I get off work. It's a bit different looking from any other one Ive ever seen. I killed a deer with it on its maiden voyage.
I had a guy years ago offer to trade me a Bob Thompson Zipper for a bow I had. Foolishly I didn't take him up on it. Look forward to seeing a picture of Hillbilly Deluxe.

So you are thinking the same lay up as Izzy's but with Osage where his is Cocobolo?

Osage where the maple is so it blends into the osage limbs like how the maple in Izzy's bow blends into the maple limbs.

Its up to you. We will do either.
With that much Curly maple in the handle it would be nice to add something for strength. Glass would sure get the job done.I think the Osage stripes would look better.With some type of accents we would get the "nugget" look that Izzy's bow has.

Lets throw some clear glass between the osage and maple at the hour glass gluelines and a strip of clear glass sandwiched between some osage in that lam. at the belly of the riser?
