I need some recomendations on a 125 grain screw-in broadhead. I'm shooting about 52 pounds with a 470 grain arrow. I was looking at the Snuffer SS. Would this be a good choice for whitetails. I'm open to any other suggestions. :)
in the 125grn Snuffers, they do some great work you also have razorcaps, muzzy, G5 to name some & don't forget all the 2-blade points too..
Eclipes or Zwicky Eskimo
I like the Magnus Stinger 125s. Two blade. I shoot them from a 55# bow with 2018s and they fly great. Excellent penetration.
Nothing wrong with the Snuffer SS. I'd look at the Stinger 125 4 blade also. The Razorcap is a really good head too.
Bear Super Razor Head SS I have taken lots of game with these heads. Easy to sharpen and it flys great.
The Snuffer SS is a great broadhead. Razor Sharp right out of the package. What suprised me was how (small) they were when compared to a Stinger or Woodsman. Don't get me wrong here. They will do the job on a deer any day. Just put them in the right place.
... mike ... :) ...
Don't forget the Muzzy Phantoms ! My son is going to hunt with them this year. Great head. If it is good enough for Fred Eicher, then they are good enough for me. Just got a wheelie sharpener from Simmons and had a dull Phantom popping hair in 3 minutes ! Seem to have good steel in them.

100 grain Snuffer with a short aluminum adapter(25grs.) gets ya there as well. I love those Snuffers! Shawn
Thanks for the replies guys. I'm leaning toward the razorcaps now kinda.
