Ha ha Im guilty myself for saying this all the time referring to arrow flight.
But have you guys ever seen the flight of a dart in slow motion?
You do "Not" want it to "fly like a dart" :biglaugh:
No, I haven't ever seen a dart flying in slow motion.
But, I have seen an arrow flying in slow motion, and it ain't purty either!
Never seen one. But I'm going to look it up. Thanks. God bless.
Guilty as charged. Guess I never watched darts fly...lol
How about we say it flys like a bullet!
I have heard this before,I think guys make to much out of it.If you look at a dart thrown to a target. It doesn't fishtail or porpoise or kick left or right,it flys straight to the target or where you aimed it.Maybe thats why alot of guys say they flew like darts.
Depends on the person throwing the dart I guess. I prefer mine to fly like rockets.
I like tack driver myself.

That's pretty funny. Matty and I just had this conversation.
this ought to be interesting...
Mine just flys like an arrow... :knothead:
i've said this before as well. Very cool video of the arrow in flight.
I still like flies like a dart.
Sometimes mine fly like a dart....other times seems they fly like broken boomerangs.
Glad the actual flight looks better than that to the eye in real time.
Flys like a phart...all spread out and stinkin up the place.
I have always hated that saying. Darts fly in a slow arc. Not for me. I've always prefered "like a laser beam."
Flys as straight as an arrow.
"Flys like a dart"
Big, arc trajectory over the eight feet to the target.

:)
Yeah I myself use that phrase as well But did some of you know that some folks call the old stone heads "Darts" ...I have a friend that is in his late seventy's now and when I was a kid he used to let me tag along to comb the freshly flowed fields looking for "Indian Darts" or arrowheads...I have a pretty good collection cause of him and I think this is the reason I love traditional bowhunting...
I have used the saying, but there is nothing really to compare the flight of a well tuned arrow with.
Darts have heavy FOC and correct quickly when thrown by drunks. Pretty good standard. :D
