Awesome! Thanks guys. I am glad to hear everyone enjoys them. I have read some good things about them but this makes it all the better. This is my second custom bow so I've got my fingers crossed, the first custom I ordered(from a different bowyer) turned out to be a nightmare. So I called up South and he was nice as can be and very helpful in helping along in picking out what I wanted. Just a few more weeks till mine is done. I'll be sure to post photos. I'd like to see pics of yalls if you've got them!

I have one of his one piece longbows and it isn't a speedster but it is a very stable bow, quiet and a great grip if you like recurve style grips. I had one of his recurves and I thought it was a great bow but I prefer slimmer limb tips. The bow I had, had limb tips that I found a bit large. Either way the bows are made about as good as it can get.

Long sticks-  the tips are a little wider then some others due to the influence of Jim Brackenbury on the original  bowyer's design.  My first custom bow was a gray dymondwood Brackenbury and I wish I never sold it.  Hoping that the Stalker is what I expect.

LongStick, I've slimmed up my limb tips on all my bow models significantly. Check out pics in the new catalog that will be inserted into Trad Bowhunter in the issue that comes out in February.

Good to hear, will check it for sure. Can I ask you, I have a Renegade longbow, would you be able to modify it with the smaller tips ?

Thanks
Pete

Pete give South a call. He is one busy guy and might not check this post. Plus he's getting ready to go on an adventure.

My new to me Stalker Striker arrived yesterday afternoon, I quickly put it together and took it outside to fling some arrows, but being only 8 degrees here that didn't last long. Last night I put a quiver on it and since it warmed up a bit today to 20 degrees I again took it outside. The grip feels great in my hand and I couldn't be happier with its performance. Everything I look for in a bow and more!!

My Dingo is drop dead gorgeous fat tips and all! Wouldn't change a thing.

I narrowed the limbs up on the Dingo (previously the Renegade) from the handle all of the way to the tips about a year or so ago. More recently, I worked the tips even a little narrower yet. I can re-cut a Renegade to the newer profile of the Dingo, which would narrow up the tips, but you'd lose a few pounds in the process.

Mine is actually a Renegade. I just call it a Dingo because nobody seems to know what a Renegade is and I like the tips just the way they are. Thanks for the tip though (pun intended)!  (http://1389blog.com/pix/HatTipSmileyAnim.gif)
