Got Tom dressed up with a nice fan from Chanumpa (thanks)in Oregon and some wings I forgot I had in the freezer. Actually the wife found them. Hope he can do his job and hold them close till I can introduce them to a nice Magnus Classic 2 blade.

That's what my son said either get shot or stampeded by hens.
Actually it breaks down and fits in a bag that comes with it. So we' ll see in May
Hey Converml, how may I ask did you get the wings to be able to stay on and take off? nice looking decoy.
I used hot melt with just a craft style gun and sticks it works great and stays on even after he gets " roughed up"
I angle the wing feathers down more than the fake wings underneath. I also cover the glue with the bronze irredecient feathers also as it look a lot better that the spray paint that comes on it. I have done the same thing with my hens in the past some wing feathers and tails glued on but as they arnt fanned out you really don't need many.
Also you don't want him looking like a top Tom anyway, lifelike yes but rather someone everyone would want to kick his butt. I should try painting a smirk on him. :jumper:
Thanks man now to get me a hot melt gun, but first I guess I had better kill a bird to get the wings. Have the fan tail and real beard but just could not figure out how to keep wings on.
That turned out nice!Ill bet he is going to really seal the deal.
I'm trying to do the same thing with a blow up decoy. The tail will work but have no wings. Wings would be tough to attach anyway. Yours looks way better. That dec. aught to work really well for you. Good luck hunting, looks like your good to go.
