Well after few months of failures and wild boar inactivity, probably due to the hounds pressure,I am been able to connect with a pair of hog to refill the frezer.
Congrats again.....!

This the first one I have killed in the last few days. He was very spook and kept coming and going for a half an hour. The Simmons Tree Shark, first time for me,made an amazing work.
56# bow with a 630gr arrow and 250 bh.stone death in 30 yards exceptional blood trail monster entry hole.
Felix, I smell ribs!! Congrats!
Same bow, arrow and bh for the smaller sow,she made just 20 yards. I saw her falling.
I am been so impressed by those Sharks, since this animal don't bleed really much and it is easy to loose the trail. They will be my standard equipment for wild boars.
Good job . Felix . Love the photo
Nice! What did the boar weigh? He looks huge.
Way to go oldtimer !LOL I smell ribs and marinated T loins cooking !LOL
You smell wrong guys,LOL!
The smaller one will become Italian Tuscany Salami in glass jars with oil, they will remain tender for 2 years, ready to eat.
The bigger one will be mostly ravioli, first stewed and marinated with red wine then made in easy to eat fantastic ravioli just add your prefered sauce, gnam!.
I am always impressed how our set ups are deadly also after so many years of bowhunting!A well placed arrow can put down anything.
Pics are been made with my cell phone and never good due to the fact that they arrive just before dark,I ain't an early bird so I hunt the dusk. Then my camera is in Tater curtyard,I forgotten it last time I am been by my buddy.
Oh boy.... sounds quite tasty.... I just got my hands on some Simmons 175 Tigersharks and a Steelmaster. Gonna work on them this weekend and plan a hog hunt before hot weather.
Congrats !!

Very nice Felix!! Congrats.
great felix !!!
Brad,I ain't hunted with that riser yet,but it loves Rose Oak limbs and shoots as good as anything I have.
Congratulations Felix. Nice pigs.
Way to go Felix! Those meals you have planned sound outstanding as well. Glad you like those sharks! What are you using to sharpen them?
Felix I ordered a set from rose oak for my 1970 b riser..as all you fellas were saying how great they were.....Brandon very nice to deal with....might have to get a recipe off you some time !!!! great job on those pigs..they are a tuff animal to bring down....
-Jon:I use a KME broadhead sharpener on a vice to use more pressure, then I start with the Steelmaster curved file and finish with the ceramic rods,it takes 10 min for head but then they are scary sharp.I plan to buy the diamond curved sharpener from 3 Rivers to speed the process.Once they are sharp you can touch them just with the ceramic rod,it is fast now.
-Brad:we have tons of recipes here for wild boar since they are native animals.
Congratulations Felix. Wild boar ravioli sounds great.
:bigsmyl:
Way to go brotha! beautiful pigs!
