Called Jim Jones a while back about building me a Firefly . He is a super nice guy and really makes a great bow . I told him I wanted something really different, maybe green . A few days went by and Jim emails me a pic of some dymalux he got awhile ago and never thought about using it . When I saw it I knew it was what I wanted. Having never used it before he had no idea what it may end up looking like. Well it arrived today . I hope it looks as I thought it would .

Let's see it, I like green risers with brown limbs of some sort red elm, and walnut would be some of my favorite choices natural camo, and beauty all in one bow.
That's a real nice box you got there!! HA. Open it already

I like it!
Yeah, that looks cool.
Love the green, great looking bow.
I love the green riser nice. I had got some Dyma Lux in the past as I thought it would be a nice change from Dymondwood. The smell of the "Dyma Lux" is the worst thing on the nose, I have ever cut or ground on. I sold all mine, but wish I would of made at least one with this green riser as it looks killer. Nice bow Vic
Sure looks like a deep green. I like it.
Holy moly. I don't rally know the difference in Dymondwood and dymalux but that is gorgeous. What are the limb veneers? Stained green or is it the green dymalux?
I would name that bow Mr. Grinch!!! I have a charcoal and blood red Firefly. These are awsome bows that really shoot nice. Good luck with it.
Wow that is a GREEN bow. If it had a yellow stripe I would call it Packer....I'm a Steeler fan btw.
Looks different and sweet. The FX is the way to go too.
Very nice! I have a 60" FX Route 66 that's 48# @ 28". If I could only keep one bow, I'd keep the Firefly. It's the best all around bow I've ever owned.
Brian the limb veneers are also green dymalux .
Very very nice
Love the color!
Very cool
That is pretty neat.... "Green Hornet" !!!!
Froggy
Very impressive!
Congrats!
Sweet, I love Green Bows !!! real classy look. I always wanted to try a FireFly, they look like great bows.
I dont know why you did not get a green one-- :deadhorse: Very nice.
Very cool! I almost ordered one before I got TTA! Jim seems like a great guy to deal with. One day I got to try one out.
Don't normally like the Blue, Green, etc... bows but that deep green I must say is pleasing on the eyes.
DeerBacon,
Jim Jones is a good man who makes a good bow. I have had a Firefly in my house for several years. Sold and traded a couple. I got one back that I let go a couple years ago. His bows have great balance, like the old Sovereign Ballistik. They are great shooters and built to hunt. Get one and you wont be disappointing.
nice bow, gotta agree with other posts that the firefly is a very nice bow. I have one of the last recurves that jim built and man is the bow smooth to draw and quiet.
Looks good
Really happy with the way it turned out ! From what I have been told this stuff is really nasty to work with ( smell and it kills saw blades )but it looks killer . Thanks Jim for another great bow !
I love the colour " Froggy Green " LOL
