Title: TallTines stock bows...
Post by: Steve O on March 19, 2013, 11:16:00 AM
On my daily perusal of the Sponsor Classifieds section I see Brian has a few stock bows listed and available. If I did not have two being built right now, BOTH of those beautiful flared riser recurves would be on their way to Michigan. Worth a look!

OMG, good thing that myrtle/zircote flare is not heavier and a 62" or I would be in trouble, beautiful bow.

If I also didn't have one of these being built right now, I would be on a slippery slope too. Its nice to be able to see multiple examples of various wood and color combinations together in a finished creation rather than choosing option combos individually hoping they will blend well to the eye. Excellent craftsmanship and performance.

I'm having one built as well and just traded for another.

They shoot as good as they look folks. Not just a pretty face.

Very nice!  I'm anxiously awaiting my first TT.  These pics don't make the wait any easier. :)

Noooooo problem...as long as my bows get done soon    :D

Jon, just ask Barry if you can shoot his TT while you are at Bootcamp, I am sure he would not mind at all.

That bocote and wenge is my favorite, I will get another one someday, but my base model is very elegant simple and sweet and has big buck mojo built in it.

So I can't part with it.

I am not sure if he finishes them in Kevlar but, I drug mine thru hell and back this fall and it never had a scratch on it.

Very impressed.

You know, I just might do that!  I'm pretty partial to my Habus but I've heard enough about the tall tines to be very curious. Not only that but even though I have never met or spoke to Brian I can tell he is my kind of guy. Take care Steve.

Jon, you'd be welcome to shoot mine while at the bootcamp but we'll likely be pretty busy. An even better idea would be if you called Brian and made arrangements to stop by his shop on your way home. I think you drive right by it going through Keokuk, IA. That way you'd have a dozen different models to look at and/or shoot maybe. I'm just sayin'. See you tomorrow. BW

After talking to you in Kzoo about your Tall Tines, you've made me very interested in trying one out.  Some beautiful bows there!

Just so you know, I've got more myrtle, ziricote, macassar, wenge, myrtle, pau ferro, bocote, cocobolo, etc. in stock. : )  I've also got a couple stock bows left and if needed I can drop some weight off of them or add checkering if desired.
