Ok, I just finished some arrows for my grizzly, she's pulling 40# @28. The arrows are poplar weighing in around 360-380 give er take, with a 100 gr or 125grain head we're talkin 480ish-500. I do have a 28" draw, so we're throwing a full 40 lbs down the shaft. That's plenty of medicine for deer at 20 yards right? I normally shoot one of my heavier bows with a much heavier arrow so thats why I'm asking, and was considering using this now with this set-up this fall.
That will kill anything in North Amerca if razor sharp head and put in the right place. Assuming they are tuned.
Magnus they're flying beautifully, I even had my wife come and watch as I sent a few down range, she said I was crazy lol. I'm thinking of trying some eskilites on these, or maybe I'll just stick to my Eskimos. I'm shooting these with 100 grain field points now.
Fire up the grill!
