Where can a person buy some type of stamp to be used to put a name or label on a bow. We are in the process of developing our own model of bow and we need a stamp to use to put our name on the bow before finishing.
Look in the phone book for a store that makes / sells trophies, if you want to stay local.
Nothing is as appealing as handwriting.

Get a Mars Grand eraser and some linoleum block cutting tools and make your own.

Obviously you guys have never seen my handwriting.lol :knothead:
Go with the handwriting,I used a stamp and have problems with the ink being blotchy with the small lettering needed for a bow.Handwriting is classier.
i with the rest, your handwriting is much more personal.
Like BambooBender, my handwriting looks like the aftermath of a trainwreck. I love my selfbow, and I think its the prettiest bow I have, but my handwriting ruined the beauty of it!
I think nice neat handwriting is the way to go on custom bows.
I use a Celtic design stamp on all the arrows I make and it does the job of identifying my work.
While I use a pre-made design, you can get custom stamps through about any stationary store or stamp art store.
While a stamp is good for my arrows, I agree with folks that handwriting is better for bows. Problem is a lot of folks have pretty hideous penmanship these days. You could probably find someone that practices calligraphy or just has good handwriting and have them do the script for you at a pretty reasonable price. Heck, if it's someone in the archery community just give them one of your prototypes in exchange for 20 years of writing on your bows!

Ok then, not to hijack the tread, what type of pen and ink do you guys use? And how do you steady your bow once ready to sign. This is where I find a problem. What about compatibility with finish like fullerplast?
How about these?
