Title: ASAT camo for turkeys?
Post by: turdyptbuck on March 14, 2013, 09:01:00 PM
Hey y'all,

Just getting into traditional archery and turkey hunting.  Just wanted to see if any of y'all use ASAT camo for turkey hunting.

Yup- Early in Spring- ASAT for sure. But I do transition as Spring unfolds. As leaves come out I go to ASAT pants and some foilage top, then eventually to full foilage.

Good to see more La people on the board.  Not much into turkeys, but ASAT is a great all around pattern to break you up, even on the ground.  It does mean all season all terrain.    ;)
Have had close encounters on the ground with deer in ASAT.

ASAT works great for turkeys, early spring and just about any time you're in the woods.  Large format disruption that takes the ambient colors well.

I'm still a sucker for Predator Spring Green, though...
