My new Black Swamp is in the mail. Should be here either Saturday or Monday. I'll post pics as soon as I get it out of the packing. It's 60" ntn 48# @ 27". Actionwood riser limbs are bamboo cores under black glass.

So how is everything over by the beaver Inn ? Still shooting a stick I see.
Those Black Swamp bows are sweet shooters! I have two of them and they are as fine a bow as I have ever owned (and at last count I have or have had around 90+ over the years). Mike is a heck of a guy to deal with as well. You're just gonna' love this one you have coming I'm sure.
Mike builds em as good as any and better than most, had 2 myself, Black Swamp and the 3 peice Black Rock. Dont know wether this is your first or not but you made a great decision. They dont get any better than Mike as a person either.Send them pics
Bill you mean the former site of the Brown Beaver Inn! Things are doing well here. Good to hear from you.
This is my first Treadway Bow, but not for the lack of trying. I've been on Mikes list for 3 years. My wait was due to loss of work and a major slow down. Mike was nice enough to let me stay on the list through my tough times. That in my estimate say's a lot about a person. He's a great person to talk to and none of our many conversations were any less than an hour on the phone. I've owned many bows, but I've never had a bowyer take interest in his customers like Mike Treadway. For that alone his bows rate high in my book. I shot all his offerings this past ETAR. I picked the Black swamp over the Black Forest. I just liked the way it fit me, although Mike had a 2 piece longbow that was running neck and neck with the Black Swamp.

Mike comes and shoots our monthly club shoots every once and a while. Both Mike and his bows are "Top Shelf".

T Lail, You know I will. That sounds like it's going to be a good one.

Bill
Thanks Ron,and SkottyBoy.
I was scarred to death when they delivered it. The box was broken and badly taped together. I took the bow out of the box in front of the carrier. The upper limb had two foot printd on it. I made the carrier note it in case of a claim. I then called Mike letting him know. He suggested that I try rubbing down the limb with a soft rag. They both disapeared! We were both very happy with the outcome.
Very nice!
No better bow out there, smoothest drawing, no stack, or handshock. Mike is a great guy too. I have 2 of his bows.
Nice looker,should shoot even better!!!!
Nice bow ! Kick myself for selling mine .
I was out doing some shiver shooting while the sun popped out. Got 5" of snow and ice since I got the bow in the mail yesterday.

Mike makes one heck of a bow. I see I'm going to need a new target soon. This is the bow thats going to Kentucky with me this September. All I need now is a new EFA bow quiver to match the bow.
Lee looks like your ready to hunt ! Nice bow
Thanks Bob
I see it shoots just as good as it looks. Mike Treadway builds a great bow for a very reasonable price.
Bill
