Title: Sometimes the bow that you shoot best....
Post by: moleman on March 13, 2013, 08:35:00 PM
Sometimes the bow that you shoot best, is the one that you least expected to perform well for you.
Long story short, I traded for a 70" 65-70 lb longbow quite some time back with some apprehension because of poor pics and other issues. After receiving said longbow I found that it is cut no where near center, as a matter of fact the shelf is just big enough to support a shaft, in my mind I thought that I had made a huge mistake in this trade, but in fact have found this bow to be my go to bow as well as my constant hunting companion.
Anybody else found a similar scenario to be true for them?

I used to buy a bow about every four months.....until I shot my Super D.  I'm finished with that, except to one day get a two piece sister bow of the same specs

I paid $110 for my hands down best shooting and best hunting recurve bow.  Fast and quiet.  I thought it would be a good field bow, but it does it all.
