What is the best choice to glue the inserts into my 35/55 Gold Tips?
24 hour epoxy
Big Jim sells a glue called quick stick hot melt. I have used it on my GT and never had an insert backout. You can go to his website and he has a video of him trying to pull them out when shot into a tree. after seeing that I was convinced that is some strong glue. Just clean the inside of the shaft with rubbing alcohol first.
Big Jim's glue works very well and is easily reversible, I believe rubbing alcohol has some oil in it, most use denatured alcohol, acetone and some lighter fluid. You can also scuff up the inside of the shaft with a brass bore cleaning brush. Clean insert and inside shaft prior to bonding.
Gorilla Brand Super Glue.
Its sooooooooooooooo easy and I have not found anything stronger!
Scuff the inside of the shaft with a brass bore cleaning brush, denatured alcohol, then hot melt from Big Jim.
Gold Tip - Tip Grip is what I use for all inserts. Never had one come loose however it is not reversible to my knowledge.

If you are using the brass inserts they aren't all the same diameter. The ones commonly sold for CE 150s are too thin for those GTs and will fall out no matter what the glue. Get some inserts made for the GTs to start. I use the blue cold melt with success.
Crazy glue works fine for me .
I've tried lots, and some arrows will eventually fail after a lot of use, especially when shot into hard surfaces, like a stump or target frame, over time and broad temperature changes. Also, I want to be able to extract the inserts, which might eliminate the strongest bonding stuff. I use Insert Iron, which holds better than most, and is easily removable. The only thing is, you have to remember to glue the insert in the day before you want to use the arrow, as it is very slow drying, on purpose I think, as it forms a flexible bond.
Every week or so I will clamp the tips of all the arrows I'm currently using in a vice and give them a twist to see if any have broken loose, and re-glue any that have. That also serves the purpose of ensuring that all the tips are screwed in tight and don't work loose as I shoot the arrows.
Insert Iron by Bohning. It holds them in and you can get them back out if you need to.
BTW, all I shoot is Gold Tip.

Big Jim hot melt. God bless.
i use hot melt.
removal is accomplished simply by heating a tightened in field point until the glue melts.
i usually 'scuff' the outside dia of the insert with 400 wet or dry and clean with denatured alcohol, too.
it will not damage your carbons when done properly.
clean the inside as described above...
Big Jim's hot melt.
I have tried just about all of them, I like Big Jim's hot melt.
I use Kimsha Quick-Stik, a hot glue. It allows for change, if you decide to do so.
