I have promised to put together this little video on preparing bear claws for jewelery or euro munts for some time and I finally got around to it. It is a very detailed video that takes you from removing the claws to a beautiful finished bear claw. This is no quicky video but something that you may want to remember when you bring home that big bruin this spring. To often we let the claws go to waste but if properly prepared that can be made into beautiful works of art.
Covered in the video is cleaning, preserving, bone whitening, filling and polishing.
Here is the video: and a couple of photos of finished products. I hope this is helpful to some of you.
Now, lets go shoot one!

My first thought was that I have no trouble polishing OFF a bear claw! Yum!
