I've talked with some guys who like to make their own arrows, but don't like to or don't know how to splice the feathers.
I'm now offering spliced 5" RW shield cut fletchings.
These are True Flight feathers. I will splice one or two colors onto a barred or solid feather of your choice. The cost is $75 per 36 + shipping.
For the amount of time it takes to do this I think this is reasonable. It's not cheap by any means. But for those who want spliced feathers I hope this is a service that has value for you. Depending on the response orders may be filled within one week. When you put in an order I will let you know if I need to make an order for materials I don't currently have in stock and what that will add to the time frame.

These are just some examples of spliced feathers I have done.
:)
Wow, Thats pretty cool David.
And them Arrows are Sharp. Very Classic looking.
Thumbs up my man!

Nice work David. Those barred feathers on the fletched arrows look like the real thing.
I don't think bowyers/arrowsmiths get anywhere close to the value of their time out of their pricing. I've spliced feathers before, I can do it, but it's time consuming and tedious. It's certainly a valuable service.
Awesome work!
Thanks guys....just trying to offer another service and get some new shoes for my wife! ;)
Oh my, ladies shoes?! You better have a price increase already.
Very nice service your offering at an a VERY fair price. Arrows everywhere are going to improve.
Nice! I just sent you an email about ordering some!!
Very Nice Dave...

Just finishing up some this morning.
Beautiful stuff David!!!
WoW.....those are some fine looking feathers you got there. Impressive work Snag, keep it up.

Nice!!!!!
Its too cheap if you ask me. I splice every feather I fletch. I can do on average 9 feathers an hour if its just a basic spice. And its such tedious work I only do it in hour increments.
But they sure look cool.
Thanks for recognizing the value and what a deal this offer is Onestringer. A lot of guys just don't understand what goes into this.
David you are a badddddddddddddd man!!
Those are just out of sight.
God bless you, Steve
Wow! :notworthy:

Wow David, those are gorgeous. I can just imagine how good they'd look in a bow quiver on this 1971 Super Kodiak that I refinished. Note the same black/white theme. ;)

I also like that modified shield cut to those feathers.
Ray, there are just some things that go together! I like the shape also. It is a little rounder.
Snag,
Your arrows are awesome!
Dave,
What can you come up with in barred red with maybe a black stripe and yellow on the nock end. You know, something that will go good with those footed shafts we were discussing.
shhhhhh.....I'm on it!
What nock do have on those Black Beauties??
The nocks are Bear Paw nocks. I really like them. They come off the shaft in the same profile. They are in between a Classic and a Snap-on as far as how they grab the string.
