I am not aware of black widow having a "talon" takedown system...they do have a "locket socket" system for their 2 piece bows...it is an excellent system, rock solid and you can't even tell you are holding a 2 piece.

They had the talon system before 2005 timeframe ... never liked the system .. seen a PL at the Footed Shaft that had failed. Split the handle ... could have been a very rare case but none the less it happened.

3 Rivers uses the talon or U-bolt system on their longbows.

The thing I don't like about them you have to use a shur-grip and just roll it up to take it apart or not use anything.I haven't heard of one failing, but Black Widow didn't use it long.I like my BW PLX with the lock socket system. It's a solid system and I feel it adds alittle more riser weight. And you can have a leather or beavertail grip put on it.I have a beavertail grip on mine,it's hard to tell it a T/D until you pull it apart.
