I have a 60" Pronghorn 3 peice take down I just bought. I have been shooting it and seams to shoot ok with the Brace hight @6 3/8. I was wondering what would be a recomended min. Brace hieght?
Seems a little low . I believe they are usually right around 7
Mine run from 7 1/4-7 5/8. Depends on which bow and which arrow.
7-7.5
Seven to seven point five inches depending on stiffness of arrow. I notice on my 56" 58# @ 28 one piece that it is necessary to move my nock locator up a bit to insure nice arrow flight.
Don't know about three piece but both of my one piece pronghorns are at 7.5"
My 3pc is 60" 48@28 and I like 71/4. I shoot woodies that weight 525 gr.

Yes
Thanks Pronghornd are new to me.
Jeff,I've been shooting that one at 7 1/4 .
I have a 3-piece and it shoots best (combination of arrow flight and quietness at 7.0 inches to 7 1/4 inches.
I figuard that 6 3/8 was kinda low. That is as low as my Old Tom. Thanks
7" to 7 & 1/4" for a three piece takedown works best on my Pronghorn.
Halfzheimers has hit. I don't even remember replying to this thread a few days ago. Jamais vu!
