Title: Kansas Turkeys
Post by: northland archer on February 28, 2013, 12:39:00 PM
Does anyone know where there is a good place to hunt turkeys in the Leavenworth area of Kansas?  I am just across the river in MO and was thinking of hunting both states this year.  Let me know your thoughts.

Thanks Much

Check out the Kansas walk in hunting atlas. You can find it on the KDWP site.

Too far NE for me. I spend more time West. Hope somebody tips you onto some hunting where you're looking!

Not sure how far you're willing to drive, but a buddy of mine swears by the Fall River Lake Area for public land turkeys. I've only ever been there to fish, but will take his word on huniting over many others.
