Title: Wilderness Custom Arrows heading to Italy!
Post by: snag on February 28, 2013, 10:07:00 AM
I was privileged to have been asked to make some wood arrows for a Canadian in B.C.  Turns out he is the 2012 National Outdoor Champion and has been named as a member of the Canadian World 3D Team. As such he is headed to the Island of Sardinia, Italy this year.
He recently shot in Canada's largest Indoor 3D Shoot which has been going on for 19yrs. On day 1 there was 124 groups of 6 archers-on day 2 there was 120 groups of 6. In Brock's words "Wilderness Custom Arrows took First Place".  Congrats Brock and thank you for allowing me to be a part of this.

...on a side note, he called me the other day and said he had just participated in another shoot where he beat all the carbon and aluminum shooters with my wood arrows made from SUREWOOD SHAFTS!

Maybe I should ask Brock if he needs someone to carry his bow and arrows?    :dunno:     ;)

Brock/David

Congratulations to both of you (shooter and arrowsmith)!

David, now I'm getting antsy to see the results of your latest project for me. I just sent an order off to Matt Gundock for natural, yellow and red barred feathers.     :campfire:

I'm pretty sure I couldn't carry Brock's lunch. LOL

Great shooting and obviously great arrows.

Thanks guys. I guess it's kind of like being in the pit crew. I get to do my part and he takes the car to the finish for the win. Fun stuff.

Good going. My family had a summer house in Sardegna: it's an incredible place. I hope you get some extra days and travel about.
Dave's arrows are top class. Italians will love them, we're suckers for great craftmanship.
