I was shooting a recurve and couldn't get it to shoot high enough for me, not matter what I did... Lowered nock to the lowest possible point... Holding bow are steady etc... Even at 10 yards, no go.. Every thing was really low...
I shoot 3 under and was taught by Rick Welch.. I shoot his style.. I'm not a world champion, but do ok..
But this bow will not shoot on target even at 10 yards...
So I was playing around with it and thought, "I'll grip the string lower, about 1'' lower than my 2nd nocking point ( I use a knock above and below the arrow).
And it starts hitting... Is this a tiller issue or somethign else???
I've shot bows tillered for split/ and shoot them 3 under with no problem, but for whatever reason, I couldn't get this particular bow to hit until I "walked" down the string a good inch...
YOur thoughts???
I'll taske a wild guess, string pinch.
God bless you , Steve
High elbow?
Yes, sounds like a tiller problem.
Tiller is off.
Can I ask what you mean by TILLER?
Just a thought. Is it a 3 piece bow where the limbs can accidentally be reversed. I saw a guy one time with an older Zipper and he had the bottom limb on top and the upper on the bottom. The letters on the limb butts designating top and bottom had faded so bad you could hardly see them.
Yes. 3 piece but limbs are correct.

Tiller is the measuremnt from the belly of the bow, above but close to, where the limbs connect to the riser or where the fadeouts end to the string...measured both on top and bottom limb. This measuement should be very close to equal with the bottom measuement being slightly less than the top.
Here is a funny answer, raise the nock point to 1" above square or a tad more. Not kidding, try it and see what happens. Shawn
Does the bow have a higher wristed grip than your used to?
What nock heights have you tried for max and minimum?
Check the tiller it should be about the same for the both limbs or even maybe a tad less on top for 3 under. If it is for split you may find it about 1/8 greater on the top limb.
Measure it up and let us know. Also if you can post a video of you shooting. I did that and got lots of good tips and I have been at this a long time:)
Thanks over&under

I'm with Shawn. On this one. But it would normally sound like a tiller issue. Or reversed limbs
turn your mental sight adjustment up 4 clicks and you should be good.
