Has anyone shot a New Woods longbow, man they look nice. That little Vangaurd pictured sure has nice wood ,looks like great attention to detail.
I've shot the Vangauard. If I hadn't had another bow on order at the time very likely would have come home with me. You know when you pick up a bow and your hitting the spot each time, something is right....have shot other New Woods Longbows and they are all well made bows.
Hey Mike,Thanks ever so much, kind of what I want to hear !LOL
Steve, give Chris a call, you will not be disappointed. His bows are really well made. I have posted about these bows before, I am still amazed at how fast, quiet and well made they are ... for the money I do not think there is a better bow out there.

Hey Chris,Wow ! really nice looking,What are the specs? Looking for around 55#.Thanks Steve
Sorry Steve,
The heaviest one in that bunch is 45#. The one in the center, Cocco and Curly Birch riser, Monterillo veneers.
Thanks, Chris
Steve,
You'll like the way those bows shoot. Very quiet and well-made. That bow in the middle is my favorite.
You know, Chris, if you lop an inch or so off each limb tip Steve could have the weight he wants! (Just trying to help)
Dang Gary, Why didn't I think of that
WOW those look really nice. Looks a lot like a Glenn St.Charles 1953 Thunderbird. Nice classic lines of archer's past. Well done.
I love the picture on your website,The Vangaurd on the right, beautiful woods.
