I have been thinking about all the good people on here and the toough times some are having or have been thru. I make bows as a hobby and I have one I never shoot anymore. Last year my house was broke into and alot of my hunting clothes were stolen. A few people here stepped up and helped me out. I am looking to see about coming up with a idea on how to give this bow awy to someone who is in need of one due to loss or a vet returning home. can anyone think of a way we could pull this off or know someone who could use it. It's a 60' takedown recurve made out of Imbuia it's around 55lbs at 28"
You can list it in the Z Giveaways with the stipulation of who you would want it to go to "someone who is in need of one due to loss or a vet returning home" or you can list it for the St Judes Auction that will be in a couple of months.

Very nice anchorman! I applaud you for your generosity! Benjy has some good ideas. I would also consider just laying out your offer here on Pow Wow. In the subject line of your post I would state something similar to the following:
Free recurve to someone in need or a returning vet.
Again, thanks for your generosity!

Kind and generous . . . two qualities I greatly admire.
A very nice offer. I think two good ideas have been offered.
