I am running into a little problem. I have some GT 7595's cut at 31.5" with 200gr up front, insert and point together.. 4 " feathers, helical with wraps. I am getting a wear spot on my shelf on the outside near my knuckle. I was thinking am I too stiff and its bouncing out there, but I am showing no wear on my strike plate velcro like I had when I had some other arrows cut too short on another bow once. The bow is cut to center only.
Most are gonna say on here I should use 5575's or less and someone will I am sure say how 7595 spine is like 100 or something like that, but I am telling you 5575 shafts at all shootable lengths to me (29" and up) hit about a foot right and bare shaft like I am throwing a boomerang, so not an option.
Anyone else shoot the 7595 out of a moderate weight curve like mine?

I shoot a 62", 53@28" recurve( cut 3/16 past center) and draw 30. So Im pulling about 60 lbs. I shoot the same arrow, at the same length as you, (minus wraps) with 225 up front, and they shoot great. 5575's will not shoot for me.

What is your draw length? Is that 60 at your draw lenght?
Nock height to low, arrow sliding down the string, string torque and other things can cause that problem also. You may not be that far off on spine. How does it bare shaft?
Maybe you could build out your sight window some and of shoot 150grns to help stiffing it up some before you do the sight window
check how tight your nocks are. I was having the same issue.Loosened up my nocks and it made a huge difference
I shoot 75/95 GT's out of a Silvertip 62lbs with 200grn points cut 32' and they fly great. Ive made up lots of different arrows for my bows 60 to 70 pounds and the only other arrow that has enough spine are 2317 and 2419 aluminum. Ive been told by a few guys that shoot lower poundage im overspined but I live in the real world.
Aren't GT 75/95 just a 340 spine? if that's so then get you some 300's. That's what I shoot from 62 to 64 lbs. with 250 grain heads cut to 30.75"
The Heritage 350's are .320 spine just a bit stiffer than the GT and heavier.
Agree- I am shooting a 62" 53# @ 30". I draw 30.5. With 225 gr up front, 5575's are bumping the guard rail. My next shafts will be 7595 giving me more options.
I pull bout 28.5" and the force draw on my bow says I'm gaining 2.5# per inch of draw from 28-30" of draw. My nocks fit pretty loose and I use a double tied on nock set. Already dropped from 225 to 200 gr up front. Helped some, I think I may cut an 1/8" off a couple and re-bareshaft to see what's happening. My shooting has been so bad lately tho bc of lack of practice I'm afraid to change too much for getting false tune.
Oh btw, I am shooting the Nuge shafts from Big Jim. His website says the regular and Nuge 7595 are not as stiff as the Trads. I fing that interesting but trust his site. I will be at the Prespring fling this weekend and maybe I can pick his brain on it.
The 7595 Nuge shafts are .340 spine. Same as the 7595 camo shafts. This came strait from BigJim. Same specs also, on both shafts.
GT Trad 7595s are .300, whereas all other GT 7595s are .340.
I imagine they did that just to keep things simple.
I'd go ahead and grab a field point tuning kit (or whatever your preference is to change tip weight, and bare shaft one of em. What's there to lose? 3 feathers and an afternoon.
Update: I took the time last night to bare shaft and had to cut them down to 31" exactly, cutting 1/8" at a time and slightly lower my nocking point to get rid of both nock high and weak spine. lowered my nock point first to make sure that wasnt the problem, then started cutting. I was hitting almost 10" right at 20yds with them at 31.5", at 31" they hit max 2" right of fletched shafts and I quit there.
I put the 125gr points back on like I used to have, to get to 225gr up front up from 200, and that also worked with no observable change in flight on the bare shaft. I guess it is really true, length is more important than point weight on carbons... been told that before, confirmed by tonights testing.

Would suggest trying a 250 gn point.
75-95 are to weak for me. 61@31 I pull an honest 31. I shoot a .300 spine.
