looking for the best value 2 blade glue on.
Any recommendations?
Hard to beat a Zwickey for the money. I am sure there are others that are very good for about the same money.
Without hesitation, Zwickey. Tried and true.
ACE
Zwickey, Ace, Magnus...All great heads. Personally I would go with Magnus. I've had great success with them and they are very durable.
Mowoc. (Inside joke).
I like the Magnus II and the Stos, but neither are really cheap. I lucked into three dozen Magnus II when a bowhunter decided he needed Abowyer heads - decidedly not cheap - and he sold me six unopened packages for cheap.
I also have a small horde of RibTek heads (used to be 6/$13.95) but Australia stopped shipping them here. Great heads.
The Del-Ma MA-2 isn't bad at 6/$17. But you do get what you pay for.
They are all good really. For the money, under 25 bucks for 6, like othes said, Zwickey and Ace. They are tough, sharpen easily, fly true and have taken game all over the world. I have used both with a slight preference for Ace.
Good Luck,
Bob.
Zwickey for me--hard to beat.
I really like STOS.
I may have to try some of the Ace and Stos next season.
I can still get the ribteks at 12 for $20aus so I use them and tuskers both sharpen good and fly great
Jim
ACE........
Zwickey STOS lots of options
Zwickeys for 30+ years. Hard to beat at the price you pay.

Tuskers, Zwickies and Ace heads all remain excellent value priced buys.
Zwickey and Magnus. My choice would be Magnus just because I can get them a bit sharper.
My preference for 2 blades though would be Simmons, Silver Flame, or VPA Penetrator.

Great economical head for the hunter that consumes a lot of arrows per year. Don't be fooled by the cheap price , these are great heads .
Zwickey or Magnus
For those who like the Magnus and Zwickly 2 blades, have you ever compared them to the older Bear Razorheads? I'm surprised these weren't mentioned, and I am curious how experienced hunters would compare them to other affordable broadheads.
If you've got an Ace in the hole, you're a winner every time...
Ribteks would be my first choice and yes, I remember the days when they were 6 for $14 bucks!
Since they're not available locally anymore I switched to Ace this year and was very happy with them. I used Zwickey years ago as well but prefer the Ace. No need to look elsewhere.
Zwickey hands down, you may have to do a little file work but they've stood the test of time.
Zwickey magnus file and hone ... Enough said.
Ace are my choice, though hard to beat the Zwickey also.

Bear Razorheads have probably taken as much game as any single broadhead ever made. They are loved by many. They are extremely easy to sharpen, easy to tune for great flight, they are easily converted to a 4-blade with a removable insert, readily available and until recently fairly economically priced. Now before all the Bear Guys toss me to the wolves, let me state that I'm a Bear Guy also. I'm a huge fan of Bear Archery tackle and the the rich history of the Bear Razorhead, but I havent found the Razorhead to be as durable as some of the other heads mentioned. I really think that's their only downfall.

I ve always liked grizzlys 1st, zwickey 2nd, although I hear reports that they are both raising prices.
Zwickey!
Zwickey!
ACE!
Zwickey
Magnus
ACE
Eclipse
STOS
Value remains in 6 packs, not much in 3 packs, like many have gone to. Many good ones out there! For true value all the way around, I'd have to say Zwickey.
Kris
$24 (tyd) for a 6 pack of Zwickey Eskimos is a great value I'd say.
I can't believe no one has mentioned Grizzly Broadheads. They are tough as nails, and much easier to sharpen than they once were.
I have a Zwickey with the tip curled back in a complete "U". But then nothing works when you center the front leg bone on a big elk.
I use Zwickeys and Magnus.
I don't like the old bears because of the curve. I sharpen with the Tru-Angle system and you need a straight edge.
I still use Ribteks...Zwickeys before hand but had a couple come apart at the ferrule. Been with Ribteks since 1995...and still buy them in bulk directly from AUS...even with the expensive shipping the cost still comes out lower than I paid 3Rivers back in the day. Also tough as nails and easy to sharpen....
