Last week we got out for just a little bit in the evening to try a new way of putting targets in the air.

Pretty neat video!
That was great! I love to see the kids getting involved. Nice shooting.
Nice shooting. I like how the little guy thinks at the end. Why shoot at it when it's moving when you can wait for it to stop! :D
That was a great video, I love seeing your son shoot.
Great shooting! And a wonderful video. Thanks.
Nice job!!
 :clapper:
Awesome shootin!
That is great! Family fun for sure. What is launching the oranges? I couldn't hear or see it at the time.

Good Dad! You can see the love in how you enjoy the boy's shooting! That was sweet...
That's pretty good shooting on your part, too! What fun!
Thanks so much guys, it was fun. I love spending time with the family and it's even better when it involves getting outdoors and shooting bows. I am really glad I got my son a Maddog Pup back in August for his third birthday.
The arrow that my son always shoots had no metal tip, just the bare wood, so there is less potential for damage as he is shooting around the house unsupervised (no neighbors). A few days ago he was shooting in the back yard and smacked one of our windows. If the arrow had had a tip on it, he would have been in trouble and I would have been fixing a window.
Start them young and hopefully we can share it with them for a lifetime. It worked out well for me and my dad. Get kids involved in shooting and hunting, even if they aren't your own. It is so fun to watch them take an interest in something other than electronics. I am preaching to the choir here.

I used a Dogtra live bird launcher. They are expensive for using as a target thrower, but I have it for training my German Shorthairs and thought I should give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised how well it threw the oranges. My daughter was pushing the button on the remote to launch them. You can see the thrower a little bit in the video, it's looks like a black box.
Great shooting and great to see the kids.
No snow in Idaho??? :dunno:
That looks like fun.
