Title: Browning Nomad I HELP Identify

Hey I found this bow and want some info on it please. It is 54" AMO 50# serial is OE1187-1. Can anyone tell me about this bow. Like woods, year mfg, brace height etc. Thanks Tracy

I had one in the late '60s. Gool l'il shooter. I think the riser wood was African Benge wood.

"0" means built in 1970. My Nomad had bubinga riser, maple lams, black glass. Some risers were brown maple and shedua. Can't remember the brace, probably around 7.5"

Thanks guys. I made a string for it and it shoots really well. Makes me start to wonder if my 1200.00 bows are really that much better.

Brownings, Red Wing Hunter, Bear Super K's/Kodiaks, Grizzly and Kodiak Hunter/Magnum are all great shooters and will hold a candle right along side many customs.
