Finally got got out into the woods today. With work and more work around the house there just wasn't time.
So I did a long distance recon this afternoon. Found a really nice looking area and decided..."This is it"
So I put a claim stick in the ground and started building :knothead:

Yup, a few of those Miller Lites and I don't care where I sleep, either. LOL
NICE!!!
Thanks fellas,,its was a lot of fun building. Hopefully it'll last for next years hunts.
I wish I could get out in the woods now,We got about 2ft of snow on the ground. :(
Dave - thanks for posting, looks good.
Jack - don't worry about the snow - two weeks ago I made a 3 foot wall of snow to block the wind, built a nice fire and cooked a nice rabbit - it was a good Sunday.
Greenie
nice fort!
Very cool.(nut) :bigsmyl:
Somebody's been watching too much Dual Survival, way too much, LOL! If I slept in that, I'd better have a chiropractor on speed dial. I'd probably blow out a knee just crawling in it. Just kidding, enjoy your youth, for it too shall pass.
Hi Dave - where exactly are you located? I am in Mullica Hill (Richwood).
Thanks!

Old school for sure! Enjoy! I'd need a chiropractor after one night spent too.
Ranger I'm right up the road in Mantua.
Beav lot of leaves and reeds will make a comfy sleeping area. along with my sleeping bag ;)
Cool shelter, but you better tighten up that fire pit.....forest fire waiting to happen right there.... :knothead:
Already in the works Roger, that fire was just there that day during the build. I'll be making an actual pit on the next visit.
