About a 1/3 of what they're going for on the big auction. Looks like a great deal to me.
Thanks Ray. any openings for a cook at Shrewhaven? I will mop floors ha ha
Great buy ! Is this your first Bear ?
Thats a good deal.
Not trying to high jack, but i recently picked up a magnum as well and was wondering the year.
The serial is 8U2916
From what I can tell by the serial# its a 1966 model. There is alot of good info out there on how to date the age a Bear bow. You can get a pretty accurate answer from the serial number. You can also get somewhat of an idea from the Bear coin on the oppisite side of the riser from the shelf. Also since it says Grayling Michigan you know it is at least pre 1978. That is the year Fred moved the company to Gainsville Florida.
Congratulations, that looks like a nice one.
Frank
Dave,
Your Magnum would be a 1968. Hundreds of thousands of Magnums made since the first year 1961 so there is no shortage of good used ones out there.

Nope Jhawk. Just call me Fido. That's just some of them.
Those are beautiful bows.
