Rethinking recurves now... After closely looking over my Chinook with black glass I must say I am impressed. The best looking black finish I have seen...but the again I would expect that from their clear finishes. I did a review in the Reviews section (with photos)for more detail but man I am impressed
I'm building an all black phenolic recurve with one narrow red stripe through the riser and tigerwood veneers on the belly. Black matrix carbon on the back. It makes just an awsome looking bow.
Soooooooooo, how about some pics of this bow you are talking about here on this forum.
God bless you, Steve
I'm going to one-piece bows only and the Chinook is of interest. There was an all black bow thread a bit ago and I might go that way.
Black Phenolic riser with black glass limbs. The bamboo core will give some yellow up the sides. Black and yellow string.
But, maybe some nice wood/clear glass on the belly as per your concept Steve. Little line of it through the riser too.
Not ALL figured out yet...
I peeked at the review thread you did. Very pretty bow!
Sixby, sounds like stealth bow. I bet it looks fantastic with the red strip.
You wouldn't have a pic. of this riser would you, huh huh huh lol.
Love it wow
What is the wood in the riser?????
