Ok so I decided I want to go with a bow mounted quiver. What do most of you that use bow mounted quivers prefer. I have looked at selway strap on and slid on quivers. I also looked at the Great Northern side mount quiver on 3rivers archery. I just would like to know what everyone prefers and why. Thanks.
I like my GN strap on
What oldskool said
It depends on the bow I love my GN strap on on a longbow. I modify them to a "kick back" bomb proof and solid mount never move when on. There are prettier ones out there but I love the GN's. For a recurve with bushings I would prob still get a GN.

I just ordered a kanati kanati ARC last week and hope it comes this week. I'll let you know what i think when it gets here.
If you plan on leaving it on the bow hard to beat the selway slide on mine hasn't been off my centaur in 10 years adds a nice natural cant to the bow and IMO helps with stabilization just my 2 cents good luck with whatever choice you make.
I have 2 German Ridge bow quivers. They work like the old Bear quivers. I like them because they are so easy on and off. I hate shooting my bow with any quiver on it. The hook hangs on any limb available on stand. Dick
My favorite bow quiver is a Great Northern strap-on. Second is the Selway slide-on.
Usually I hunt deer with a Solo-Stalker single arrow bow quiver and a Side-Stalker quiver.
I like the side mount quivers.. I have a selway and a kanati . They r both hold 4 arrows. I wish bought the 5 arrow
Funny u should ask. I'm in the market for a new bow quiver for a bow I just made. FOR ME I like a bow quiver that is able to mount to my bow WITHOUT being restricted to being mounted in the fadeouts of the bow AND keeps the arrows in a group rather than spread out like a fan! I love the looks of alot of bow quivers but in the end I'm going to buy another GN quiver cause it just works and works well.
It all depends. If you are a tightwad, mediocre at best shot like myself, then you should buy the cheapest one that holds the most arrows. You haven't truly been hunting until you stalk your own arrows.
That will make sense to anyone who's hunted javelina.

Kanati Pro, like the look of the ARC, might have to get one to try out
I perfer the Kanati Dual Arc because it is so adjustable. If you aren't getting the adjustable one then I'd go with EFA.
I have my Dual Arc tuned so that when I release the string the top limb tip slightly rolls backwards causing the bow to fall into my grip rather than me having to grab the bow after the shot. It's adjustability also allowed me to tune it to balance the weight just where I want it and position the feathers behind the limbs of my bow so they aren't sticking out in front of my bow brushing into stuff at the ground. The adjustable length allowed me to spread my fletchings apart so my feathers don't make a velcro sound as they brush against each other when removing arrows while hunting. The FDS strap system is also nice in that it allows me to quickly remove the quiver when wanted without the noise of the velcro straps if I'm hunting from a tree stand. Lastly, the adjustable arcs let me put the quiver mounted in the center of my riser so that it doesn't affect limb movement. This is important so that it doesn't affect the tuning of my bow/arrow combo; as a result, I can shoot the same arrows with the quiver on as without the quiver on the bow and they always go to exactly the same place. When you have a limb-mounted quiver, you can't always achieve this. I had them make mine to match my bow perfectly.

Thunderboa for me.Eagles Flight are really nice too if you dont want much weight on your bow.Big Jims are well made and a good bang for the buck too.Great Northern and Kanati are excellant and very popular, tried and true as well.Nothing wrong with Selway either.
