I'm not always the sharpest tool in the shed. Just ask Ron about the porchlight, the lock on the gate...I might have been blonde in another life. But something struck me right in the head today. This is the ONLY traditional archery web site where you can ask questions, post opinions, and expect to be treated decent.
Some days I am in my office a lot. Work frustration sets in, and I will jump around reading about traditional archery. Elsewhere, it's hard to find a thread that isn't ugly or turning sour. I find myself on here, sometimes just reading, more and more.
Thanks Terry.
Roger,
There aren't any raisons around here. They are a kissing cousin to sour grapes! And neither one's allowed around here. :biglaugh:
Bill
So right you are Roger! This is as good as it gets. We love our sport and like to keep it enjoyable. Some people love to argue, and there are places to do that if that's what trips your trigger. But as for me, I like the family atmosphere around here best.
I'm like you at work too. Just got done with a very frustrating phone call from a government regulator. First thing I do is jump on here for some relief!
I agree totally. There is a lot of good time conversation and a wealth of knowledge to tap into for a relative newcomer like myself. I am on here almost everyday, and few days pass that I don't learn something new.
Mark
 :clapper:
Here, here!!
Roger,
I feel just like you about the light coming on, just a tad too late most times ! Best website out there for trad IMHO. Would be totally lost without all the fine folk on here helping out.

I just wish it wasn't so hard to post photos on here! :(
Roger, you are right on target.Stress relief for traditional shooters.Ya gotta love it........bd
Well put Roger!! I find myself doing the same thing. Some days it seems like I am on this site more than I am doing the work I am supposed to be doing. But I can come here and releive stress and frustrations and it seems to make the day go by a little better.
You're right Roger......this is a wonderful place to be......
David
:biglaugh: I seem to spen alot af my....uhm...workdays here too!
Happy to be here.
Right on brother!<><
Well put Roger and good timing. I like to read and learn things here without all the personal attacks and venom that gets spewed on other sites. I enjoy this site and have lots of respect for the guy running it.
Thanks Terry!
Apex....it's really easy to post photos here. PM me and I can lead you through it.
Right on Roger. Just remember we need to help Terry keep it that way. It doesn't happen by accident. A big thumbs up to Terry and all the moderators. :clapper: :clapper:
   :clapper:
I agree.
Geeze you guys just noticed :D Better than family!
:campfire: Brent
Yes, I left another site for that very reason. This site is truly a great site. And it's grown! Holy moly!
AMEN to all the above for me. I really enjoy the whole shebang! Bill
Trad Gang is the only (non news) website that I hit for sure everyday.
Thank you to all who make "this" possible.

A wealth of information for newbies like me...deeply appreciated. :notworthy:
This is the only site I visit on a regular basis. I have learned so much here and have met some very good people, that I'm proud to call my friends.
ditto to all of the above and I rarely go on any of the other sites anymore and thanks a lot terry
Great wealth of knowledge and fun on this site.
I've been a moderator here for what seems to be a pretty long time. There are days that I want to just crawl in a hole. Days when I have to edit, delete or reprimand someone I know (or feel like I do).
That can be tough, but when I'm feeling down because of some calous retort I've gotten from someone who's feelings were gonna be hurt regardless of how delicate I tried to be, I just think of the other 13,433 members who deserve the best we've got to give.
That's 13,433 of the very best traditional bowmen in the world... that's right, IN THE WORLD!
It's those 13,433 acting in the spirit of traditional archery values that makes this site what it is.
Easiest job in the world right here. :campfire: :archer:
Well said Charlie.
AMEN Charlie! And thanks to all the Mods for the great Job they do. Even when they delete my posts! :goldtooth: <><
this is my home away from home. this is the best family a man could ask for. as the mods do a real good job. :notworthy:
I agree to the 10x power.   :campfire: :coffee:
I agree 100%. I used to go to other websites on a daily basis (for other hobbies).
It seems every day if it wasn't someone flaming someone else or arguing about the hobby it was the good-old-boy click posting nonsense about everything off topic.
This is the only site I check every day, even if it's just for a few minutes at work.
Thanks everyone!
A great place to be and a great job by all those who work so hard to keep it that way-both members and moderators. :notworthy:
The truest of words you read last before entering here are
Expect to be respected if you decide to join the gang, because the rule of respect is held highest of the few rules that apply. Tradgang.com has a zero tolerance for disrespect directed to anyone. If you want to disagree, then please do so in an adult manner. Debate is healthy, as one sword sharpens another, but it must be done in an honorable fashion.
Not sure who penned them but I agree.
Brent
Yep big  to Terry, all the mods, and such that make this site possible. Not to mention that this site is one of the few that I don't mind my kids "hangin out" on. I'll tell you what! In todays worlds that's sayin somethin!
In a sport/hobby/lifestyle (whichever it is to you, prolly a little of all) like traditional archery, in which passions can run pretty high, it's refreshing to see that people can disagree and not get abusive. :clapper:
Nothing wrong with a little good natured ribbing though.
Anyway, I hope this site is around for years and years to come.
James
 :campfire: :clapper: yes it is Roger,,,and I'm glad to be a part of it. Thanks to all who make it possible.
