Looking to camo my longbow for turkeys this spring. What do you use?will be hunting with a ghillie and no blind.
Some rubber bands and local flora.
Found some Velcro Reusable Self-Gripping Cable Ties
at work. They use them to bundle wire to keep them from tangles. I was planning on wrapping them around some worn out camo clothes.
Just make it non shiny. Its just a stick. Unles the bow is realy brightly colored.
i use trebark camo bow socks cant get them anymore i picked up at set on my 17th birthday 2 years ago i got them from a archery show favorite bow socks and pattern wish they still made them but they are for recurves all my bow socks are but go to any site and look up alaskan bowhunting supply spandex bow socks awesome item i own a set for all my recurves
I have some camo tape from Ultimate Camo....best camo I've seen...or not seen!
cloth camo tape
The tape is a great idea. Does it not hurt the finish when you pull it off?
Camo tape here as well. When you pull it off it cleans easily but i have only pulled mine off to replace it. Quiets the bow some as well I beleive.
Have not bothered. My bows have natural wood, brown glass or snakeshins, all seem to blend in with the natural flora. Movement is more conspicuous than any recurve or longbow imho.
just go to limb Onestringer.com and look under limb camo
