Title: Winter snow storm: Time to make arrows!
Post by: Frenchymanny on February 08, 2013, 07:02:00 PM
I had fun chopping wild turkey feather and goose  from my friend Drew with my lil' chopper.
Today I just put together a few arras:

Gold tips 55/75 cut at 28", yellow wrap, 100grs insert.

Lots of feathers, sweet arras  :)

Thanks all!
This could not happen without Drew's feathers.
I loved chopping them, building the arras was even better!

Well I think turkeys are lucky for now
That could change on a dime, I saw how Drew shoots

Those yellow wrap stand out very well   :)

I have another batch of arras ready to be fletched with a white wrap. Natural turkey feather, snow, white wrap...We will wait for the spring before shooting them!   :bigsmyl:

What brand exactly?  I am asking this because I haven't been very lucky with super glue gel.
