A little history. Using a hammer and "chisel" they would drill holes then hit it with the hammer and split the stone. Hard work!

Mark,what kind of haversack is that?
It's just an old military canvas shoulder bag. I sewed some flanel on the outside to hold a water bottle.
Brian, that is some beautiful scenery you have there.
Great stuff....I love seeing the different scenes from all over the country.....and the world for that matter. Stump'n is so much fun and good practice to!! :thumbsup:

Man that looks beautiful. No mountains here in Hoosier state but I its home and I love corn fields. I do plan on gettin out west for some hunting in the future though.
