I got a few bows, long ones, short ones, pretty ones, ugly ones, recurves, straight ones. I kinda like them all. They are all fun to shoot and fun to hunt with.
I don't really care which bow or which style I use. I just like flinging arrows with a stick.
Anybody else feel that way ?

I'm kind'a that way...I have a bunch and I like all of them. I do have a few "favorites" and a couple or so that I "could" let go, but I just like to shoot them all and enjoy the differences.
I think that most of us have a good mixture, but each have there own positive marks. I like those threads just to see all the different bows.
I do have a "favorite" bow that I shoot most of the time but also enjoy shooting all the rest too.

The only real variable for me is I like some grips better than others. I don't care very much on the rest of the bow.
I just can't seem ta help it...this should be called the addicted to buying any old bow thread....I just gotta have em all! I would type more here, but I think I saw one over on the bow classifides that I just gotta have!!!!!
They are all fun to shoot. Some times I take two hunting .One for the morning and one for the after noon. :knothead:

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
I like bows any bows!period. now arrows, thats a different story...LOL they have to look a little sweeter
Chuck: My bows aren't as ugly as youre, of course, :bigsmyl: ,but I agree, it's just fun shooting and hunting with a true stick and string. That's why I've been doing it for more than 50 years.
Jerry, you"ve seen some of mine. . painted up and not so pretty, but you have to watch where you lay them, cause they hide on you. And I have been known to toss my Big River up the side of the mountain ahead of me and pull myself up using the oakbrush. Tough to do that with a pretty bow.
Yup, I imagine that most of us on this site really like to fling arrows and when it comes down to it, really don't care how.

Kinda like picking one of the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders for a date. Can't really make a bad pick. :campfire:
Bows, like wines and fishing lures, can be selected for the conditions and situation at hand. ;-)
I have a ball keeping the oldies in play. The bows I use were from a time when men walked on the moon and the aircraft (X-15, SR-71) were the fastest ever built. :archer:
I've been shooting them since 1955 so my tastes in bows has evolved. Now I like them modern, smooth, fast, and stable which is why I seem to gravitate towards ILF risers and carbon foam limbs. It's all about the shooting now, athetics don't play a part.
