I had sent KME and email asking for help in choosing a product. I wanted something to sharpen broadheads. Instead of just giving me a generic answer, I received and email from Ron asking me a lot of questions. I thought it would be easier to talk to him rather then send emails back and forth.
We talked for a good 20 minutes about life and nothing about his products. I was ready to let him know I can't sharpen a stick let alone a knife. His didn't laugh he just said instead of getting a broadhead sharpener he suggested his knife sharpening kit and went into detail why...
He also told me when it arrives in the mail call him and he can walk me through it...
Ron will have a customer for life with me.
Thank you again Ron
Ron and his tools are great, needed a new roller for my sharpener and sent him a E-Mail had the new part in two days no charge. excellent customer service.
Thanks Ron

I am currently talking to Ron via PM's and thus far I have nothing but the highest respect for the man, his products and his customer service. Outstanding!
ak.
Gotta agree that you would be hard pressed to beat Ron's customer service. He is a great guy.
I always had fast answers to all of my questions he is very professional and capable, waiting for his new releases.
Ron is a great guy ,he took a lot of time at a shoot to teach me how to use his products.
Can't say enough good about the KME sharpeners.....truly, they have built a better mousetrap.
Ron is great and fast to load you up with all the info you could need.
Ron is a good dude. Makes a great product.
You should enjoy the product and the results it will give you.
CTT
For sure excellent customer service and quality of product. Ron will always make time for you.
Ron is an amazing gentleman.
I calleld him on the phone to walk me through my Knife Sharpener.
He was on the phone with me almost entirely through one broadhead. I am convinced he can sharpen through the phone.
He would tell me when to change stones, by the sound of the stone on the broadhead...
Amazing...

Great product and great guy! I can sharpen just about anything with a file or any other sharpening device. My favorite method is with a KME... doesn't matter whether it's broadhead or knife sharpener.
I'll always have both in my shop.

Ronnie is super...wish he would take more time off and bowhunt with us... :campfire:
Agree....certainly one of the best with CS.....I'm a customer for life too

I believe I am founder and President of "Can't Sharpen Shix, Intl"
Ron, years back, took me thru the paces and every now and then a "refresher" session.
His tools are simple, but there are "techniques" to getting them to work properly and provide the best results. Veer off course on one of the techniques, and it impacts the outcome.
I am able to find a myriad of ways to veer off course, but Ron keeps coming thru to pull me back...
He's never said it aloud, but I'm sure has thought it, "Doc, just use the Keep it Simple, Stupid method"
When he reads this, he'll about bleed to death thru his face cause he's one of the most genuine and humble people I've ever met!
Oh boy... ya see what happens when leave the PowWow forum for even 1 day... you come back and find everyone talking about you! The real surprise is that you guys are saying nice things about me...not used to that, just ask my wife. Ha!
Seriously, thank you all very much. The most rewarding part of this "job" (sure ain't the money), its all the great people I've been blessed to meet. Whether in person, over the phone or on here the threads. I consider all of you close personal friends. Thanks again to all,
Ron
Now go splash cold water of your red face, Ron!
It embarrassing :o :o to see you all flushed like that!
I just visited the site and viewed the video. I see from the description that this device will work with single-bevel broadheads. I assume one just keeps working the beveled edge without ever having to flip the clamp over?
Does the roller wear out quickly being on the stone all the time?
I've never had trouble sharpening double edge broadheads but the single bevel is a challenge for me.
You raise a light burr the length of the non-bevel side, then flip and repeat the process---lightly.. and then flip-flip-flip..
Ron will be glad to answer your question... the knife sharpener does the same thing..
And no, the rollers do not normally wear quickly!
No surprises here!
Great products! Second to none in customer service. Proud to call Ron my friend. I'll second what Joe Skipp said about Ron needing more time to bow hunt with us.
I've had the pleasure to meet Ron at the Whittingham shoot and he is 'Good People' for sure.
He remembered I live on a boat that was smack-dab in Hurricane Sandy's path, and even though he was also affected by the storm he inquired about my safety ( as did several other 'Gangers). That meant a lot to me.
I'm looking forward to seeing him in April at the next Whittingham shoot.
Oh yeah, he makes the best sharpener out there too.
Yep thats Ron. First class all the way!
I got my sharpener today, I called Ron and asked when he gets a chance please give me a call. Ron called me back 6:30 his time and spent the next 45 minutes teaching me how to sharpen a knife and one Broadhead.
I have said this before I have a hard time sharpening a stick , now I can pretty much sharpen anything.
Thank you again Ron
Ron is a great guy. Have both, the knife & broadhead sharpeners. His products and CS are second to none!! Hey Ron, dont forget to stop by at Whittingham.
Top notch dude! He spent close to an hour one SATURDAY explaining sharpening to me. Best sharpener you can get IMO as well.
The only bad part about the KME is that now I have been given the task to sharpen all the knifes in the house...
LOL :biglaugh:
Glad to once again see something about Ron on PowWow. "Sandy" played havoc with him and his business in 2012. Havn't heard much about him since that time. Definitely one of the good guys. :campfire:
I just bought both broadhead and knife sharpener from Morrison Archery. I called Ron about an issue with one of them and he educated me in a few minutes on broadhead sharpening. Shaving hair with just the coarse stone. Also on the list to get new the new sharpening stick to sharpen Simmons Sharks. Ron says it is great. Gotta believe him. Bob Morrison was good to deal with also.
