Here are a few pis of my newest bow from Mike Dunnaway. It is a new model he just came out with. It is a mild r/d bow based off of his Vision longbow with some modifications to be better suited to it's 62" length. 62" 53# @ 28". The riser is macasser ebony, actionboo cores, tiger myrtle veneers and beavertail grip. To say I am pleased is an understatement. It shoots just as good as it looks. Wasn't even intending to order a bow when I went with my nephew as he ordered his new Kestrel, but saw a Quest Mike had in stock and made the mistake of shooting it. As is often said on here, pictures don't do it justice.

"Quest"
Very nice looking bow.
yeah i guess i should have paid more attention to the topic title!! Very nice...
Great bow, I was able to shoot the prototype. And they are wonderful, I have a kestrel and couldn't be happier!
I have always liked the look of his bows. Everyone I talk to who has shot his bows say they perform well.
Yours is a looker for sure, Enjoy!
I should get to see them this weekend in Jeff City Mo.
Ya, I think he had 2 or 3 of them ready to take to the UBM Festival.

Same here. Two totally different bows, but I love them both.
Wow, those veneers are unreal! Very nice, love that d shape.
hard to tell from the pics, but does it string up to a D or does it flatten out a bit toward the tips???
That's a looker

It strings to a "D". Here is a picture of the end of the linb when strung and the tip.

Is there a web site? How do ya get a hold of Mike to see his work/place an order? Thanks Burt
Mike didn't use to have a website. Maybe Glenn or one of the others will put his number up for You.
You can contact Mike Horton at the Nocking Point he will have Mike's number for sure.

bsv,
Mike doesn't have a website but his place is just north of Perry... ;)
Just head up the dirt road and it's on the right. :)

Might need a few more directions coming all the way from New York! ;)
Beautiful bow! I just bought a used Vision, and am eager to try it.

Well OK, since he'd be coming from the East... turn right off of 24 just past the school. :bigsmyl:
Would that be the school with the flagpole out front . . . past that old cottonnwood tree?
I think you are thinking of Jefferson West High in Ozawkie,KS off K-92 highway Moots.... Perry is south of there several miles.
I had the sincere pleasure of meeting Mike Horton Last week on a business Trip. I have bought gear from mike for some time, what a great gentleman.
On my way back to the hotel, he called Mike and directed me to stop by his shop to check out his bows.
I will say this, Mike is a class act, builds a fantastic line of bows, and really pays attention to detail in design and craftmanship.
If you folks in KS/MO have a chance, stop and see him.
:notworthy:

Perry has a flagpole but those are oak trees out front... :D
Oak trees . . . okay.
Say fellas, just received my WHC Vision that I bought from Andrew on Tradgang. I have only shot 30 or so arrows through it, but it is a very fine bow. Nice workmanship, accurate, and very smooth to draw. The bow is marked 52# @ 28", but I didn't believe it until I scaled it. It pulls like it is about 48#. I think I am going to like this bow.
