Title: Hoping 2013 turkey season is good as 2012
Post by: raghorns on January 30, 2013, 07:52:00 AM
It was my first season to really go after Spring turkeys with a bow. I killed a nice tom on opening day and another on the opener of week two.
What a thrill! I used an older model Shrew that I purchased from a tradganger. This year I'm thinking self bow. Good luck to you all this season.

Lyle, Nice Birds!

Wish i could get em down like that. I moved to Virginia last year and didn't have anywhere to hunt birds. It was the first year in 5 or 6 where I didn't kill a bird myself, or guide another hunter.

I'm hoping my 2013 is like your 2012. Great Job again.

Congrats on the bird!  That's a nice tom!

I only made it out once last year after turkeys. I started fishing early and didn't think about turkeys much.  I plan to give it much more effort in 2013.
