I was checking out the primal styk. Can I get some feedback on this bow. They look nice a little pricey but nice. How would they compare to other bows of the same design? Thanks
I owned a Robertson Purist. Looks like only the name has changed. I made the big mistake of trading that bow away.
I now own a 3-piece Robertson Vision recurve.
Nothing but quality and craftsmanship coming out of that shop.
Top notch bows. I have shot a couple of them and they are sweet!
Quality bows and quality people!
I have owned a Mystical, a Purist and the Primal Styk. All are great bows, I still have the Primal Styk and would still own the Mystical if I were still shooting 65#'s
You won't go wrong with a Robertson,.. fine bows..!
I have an old Mystical and a Vision (prior to the Primal) longbows. In the mild R/D class, they are about as good as they get. Very strong shooting bows and really push a heavy arrow well.
If I had the money I'd buy another in a heartbeat.

I have always been primarily a Hill style bow fanatic, the problem I have with Robertson longbows is that they are faster at my draw than a Bear takedown and as forgiving for me as my Schulz longbows and pound per pound perhaps even quicker. Makes it difficult to want to shoot anything else. You can pick the basic riser with a heavier wood and get the feel of the more expensive models, 64" will cover most peoples draw, although for my draw 26.4" right hand and 26" left hand the 62" bows are my favorites.
I used to have two primal Styk longbows. I found them to be very well built and smooth to draw. However, I didn't shoot them as well as some of my other longbows and sold them.
Thanks everyone!
