There's these things called finger savers that attatch to your bow string, supposed to ease the pressure on your draw fingers. Pro's and con's..?
I'm thinking of attaching a set on my recurve. I shoot so much my draw fingers are getting tender
They add a lot of weight to your string. Ever try a glove or thicker tab? By the way, your fingers will get used to it after a while.
Hate them, noisy and slows the bow down
youd be better off spending your money on a good glove or tab,...... they may be good on a kids bow.
but when you get to a heavier draw bow the string just cuts through the foamy rubber its made of just like its not there.
They are nice for kids and bow fishing.
used them on my kids bows years ago. they worked ok for them
Have them on my bow fishing rig, because I don't want to ruin a perfectly good leather glove.
Great for bowfishing!
x2 on bowfishing. i use them on my two fish killers thats all.
x2 on you will get used to it. just start shooting every day and you wont notice any pain
they torqued on my bow
Ok thanks for the advice. I'll try to keep shooting without putting them on my string.
My wife uses them on her 42 pound draw longbow built by Steve Hohensee because she couldn't find a glove that would fit properly. She liked them, they worked fine, hers didn't wear out and she's shot a lot with them.
I think they also are difficult for some people to use because they seem to promote string roll on the fingers which throws the arrow off the rest or shelf.
my daughter used them for years....she finally found a glove that will fit her hand now and shoots with that....worked good for her ....
They are great on Kids bows. They don't need a glove so you don't have to fumble around getting a kid into a good fitting glove.
Time saver if several kids are shooting at the range
