If you were limited to one bow and ONE bow only, past or present, what would it be?
Seems weve all made mistakes and mine was an Elburg Falcon, from my past, one of the finest bows I ever owned. :campfire:
58" Centaur Chimera 55#@28 (future bow) :)
My 62" Super D.
Rivers Edge Retro 60" 54#
my old BW SA II
Own it now.....my Schafer Td curve
At this time Morrison Shawnee,Hopeing new Centaur takes its place shortly.
My Black Widow PCH
My Bear Super Grizzly from the 70s. I still have it.

:campfire:
ZIpper SXT with whatever limbs I had lying around... 56'' carbon foam :notworthy:
I do have only one bow. If I ever find a nice 2-piece that shoots and feels better in my hands then I'll sell it but until then this covers all of my archery needs. Sarrels Sierra longbow with upgraded curly cocobolo riser, bamboo limbs and core under clear glass, and the double arrow artwork burned into the back of the limbs.

RER LX. I have two sets of limbs for it though. If you forced me to give one up I would keep the ones that are 57# @ 29".
It would have to be my 92' Black Widow MA111, 46@28. Love that bow.
My old Talon longbow from the late Dave Paxton
... Pronghorn 3pc T/D Longbow.....
Black widow PCH
My Dwyer Dauntless
A Fred Bear TD (B riser). Limbs are widely available in 3 lengths and various weights...and they all interchange...and at reasonable prices.
But heck, life's to short to settle on only one bow.
Leon Stewart Slammer,I have tried many bows but always seem to go back to the Slammers
My 3-piece ACS. No wait, my Hill. No, my Robertson. No, no, my Liberty Chief. Wait a minute, my by Bear T/D. No, no, no, my selfbow. No, no, my ........ Life is too short to have only one bow. :bigsmyl:
I could not do it... but...my Mohawk or maybe my black widow PL. It would depend on which week you ask.... my mind is UN-anchered.
How can you have only one? So many bows, so little time. :archer2:
A 70# Hill, any Hill
68" 63 @ 27" Northern Mist Classic
For a recurve. PCH KB or PA out of those 3 you would have to pick for me I like them all
Centaur Chimera 60"50#@28" but it has a sister on the way @53# :goldtooth:
Pronghorn 3-piece, 55@28.
If I had to make that choice today, my '69 Kodiak Hunter.
62" Sarrels Blueridge takedown longbow 50#@29.5"
Bisch
It would have to be my Kanati. 60" 54# at 28" ...Love it!
Jason
62" Silvertip
My 21st Century longbow, 46@26", Saturn model, one of the older ones. Picked it up from my good Ranger Buddy, he got it on ****. She sure is a fine bow.
About 6 months ago it would be my 62" 66@29 Silvertip(had to drop bow weight), just got a new Randy Morin Banshee 60" 53@29 and it's a real shooter. It may be over taking the Silvertip, but only time will tell.
Schafer
I'd go for the Fred Bear Signature Model (#004) that keeps surfacing on various bid sights Gift to some governor or not. Sold for $7,000 recently.
I'd sell it and buy a wagonload of $150 and $200 recurves from the 60's and an out-of-state hunt or two.
Have owned a few, not to many, still have a few old bows keep around for the kids and friends that want to try out a stick bow. Would love to try a great northern bushbow and a whip. But as far as the bow for me CROOKED STIC is it, never would have found it if not for our trading that goes on here, plan on getting another when able as Mike's bows are just a good fit for me,THANKS ALL for the trades!!!!!
Silvertip one piece, 52#@28"
No doubt for me my homemade curves! It's all I've used for over a decade now and can't imagine using anything else. Well I got a new one coming out of the oven now actually! lol
RER XR Recurve....
My Pronghorn 3pc. It would get the nod over my Mohawk and Bamas and Shelton due to the fact that I have 3 sets of limbs for it, all different weights.
Black Widow PLx takedown 60# @ 28"
My 69' bear 56@28
Hard pick for me, probably either a Fred Anderson Skookum or Gus D Longriver 68" in the low to mid 60's.
My 3 pc ACS. Might change as I have a 2 pc ACS on the way.
my titan set up, love that bow. Just set up some arrows for small game hunting :) going after squirrel thursday morning.

Longbows...
60" MOAB, or 56" Thunderchild...
Recurves...
56" Kwyk Styk
I can't narrow it down much more then that... This is great progress for me!
No brainer there, RER recurve for sure.
My 66# Wes Wallace Stealth, it's light enough for me to shoot for extended periods of time yet heavy enough to take anything in North America.
That would be my Wilderness TD recurve, by Neil Russell. Smoothest, fastest bow I have ever owned and I have owned a bunch.
Howard Hill Halfbreed. 67" 53@27"
My 17" Titan riser with the 6 sets of limbs I have that range from 26-55lbs....pretty much covers everything
60" 50# Fatal Styk
My 58" T/D Centaur Elite, 54@28..It seems to have all the qualities I want in a bow.
Border Black Douglas.
60" 59#@29
Fast and smooth and feels like home.
Don't even own one but I would say Widow, because the customer service is sooooo good and it's very likely to be around thru my life time.
Habu Vyper Kahn
Any Zipper!!!!!! MIKE
Morrison ILF recurve 43#, carbon/foam limbs. Most versatile bow I've ever shot.
The HH Badger.
The old bear one piece recurve my grandfather gave me (Stag Hunter) will always have a place in my heart, but my 60" Silvertip just shoots too darn nice.
Probably my 66" 62# Mohawk, love that bow.
Tom
Longbow Zipper NITRO
Longbow... Kanati
Recurve... Kwyk Styk
Schafer Silvertip, probably my 56# @ 28. I draw 30 so it has plenty of pizazz for N.A. game.
D.P.
Left Hand..my Fedora one piece recurve, Right Hand, my Kempf Stealth T/D....

It would be one of my Miller longbows, probably my Hawk cc/cv all bamboo longbow. Ron.
