I am developing new arrows for my Peregrine #1. Technically a bit a puzzle, but I worked it out. They should be perfect. I thought about the feathers and decided I would give my arrows a new look too. If you want to go to heaven you might as wel travel first class :)
I did many searches and decided to order wild turkey fathers from Magnus. Matt is a sponsor here. After many questions (how complicated can feathers be) which Matt answered very prompt and patiently, I placed an order for 9 dozen premiums and some spare ones.
Thanks to Matt I learned a LOT about feathers....
They travelled all the way from the US to The Netherlands within 5 days!
And I have to say, they are above first class quality. Matt delivers probably the best feathers money can buy. It is a pleasure doing business with him and he delivers at warp speed first class products. Did I already mention that wild turkey feathers are unbelievable pretty? Each feather is an unique gift from nature and no feather looks like the other one. I could get easily addicted to this stuff :)
Another fine example of an archery supplier who works hard, doesn't boast, but delivers extra-ordinary products with a great service. That's why I love to buy my stuff in the US, even though I live in The Netherlands.
Thank you Matt!
PS: When my arra's are ready, I will show them here. But the painting has to cure for a week now, before I can fletch.
I agree fully!

...yeah, and he really loves it when you use a small box cutter to fillet all the meat off the wing bone before you send it to him! :saywhat:
And he does nice dye job, cuts them slim and clean when he chops (better'n I could do) and even with a bad back, bends over backwards for his customers!
Wow...that does all deserve tribute, eh?!!! :)
 Great man!
Ditto what everyone has said. Matt does some phenomenal work with feathers and arrows.
Yes he is! He processed a bunch for me. The cut and grind on them were the best I have ever seen.
Thank you all for the kind words and the support! I had a great teacher!

Here's some feathers from Matt on a vintage microflight arrow (I had to carefully strip the old feather off, but didn't want to remove the original cresting, so you can see where the old glue line was). Matt's feather's are great and colors/service are top notch:

Those turned out nice Ray!
Thank you all.
Matt, yes I like them a lot. It's neat to shoot them out of my 1971 Super Kodiak and they fly great. The crest held up well over the last 40 plus years.
Here's some other microflight's on my vintage rig with Matt's feathers. This is a natural barr/green bar combo.
