I've known Mikey "mcgroundstalker" for years, but this is the first time I've been able to make it to his place upstate after being invited for years now. It's beautiful!
I originally met Mikey at Muzzy, but really got to know and appreciate him from the JLM bunny hunts at Shawn's.

Thanx to Mikey for opening up his country home to all of us. For those that haven't had the privilege, Mikey is a fine a fella as you'll ever meet.
I met some real fine fellas that were all good shots, ate like a king, and shot a bunch of arrows....just about a perfect day!
Thank you so much little brother :notworthy:
I hope next time Cade can make it :campfire:
Now that actually looks like a lot of fun. More snow there then we have seen in 2 winters.
cool cool, Very cool!
Looks like nothing short of a blast and good people.
I'm sorry that I missed it. I shot up there two years ago. Mikey's got an awesome set up! I'm sure that it was a great time as usual1, and I'm sure the food was as good as the shooting!
Looks like a Great Time  KY :archer:
Where was Cade at? Looks like a fun day.
I think Ive seen that Keith fellow down in NC a time or two.
Good stuff. I remember the 1st time I met Mikey at the Bunny Hunt and he told me to check out Whittingham. It was when I 1st got back into bowhunting and he has become the face of trad archery to me. Sorry I missed you again fellas but I should be all moved in and back to normal in a month and will be out and about again.
"where was Cade at?"....he had a sleep over at a buddy of his....I sure missed having him with me :(
Iz, wish you could have made it bud
I love going to this shoot. Would have loved to be there. Thew vehicle situation prevented me from making the trip.
Thank you Mike for opening up your paradise to us.
As usual, looks like everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
Mike always cooks up some good "alley rabbit",
Man, that makes a guy want to drive to NY just to shoot arrows! Looks like you guys had a blast. We used to do stuff like that but times change I guess. Enjoy.
Looks like a great day there!
Eric
Thanks for sharin' the pics Curt!
It twas a most-excellent outing!
Keep the wind in your face!
Shoot straight, Shinken
:archer2:
Sure looks like a great day. Sorry I couldn't make it. I was fortunate to attend last years shoot on St Patricks day. Mike, you truly have a beautiful place. I am sure that nobody left hungry.
Great pictures Curt! And a spot-on hit at target #14... You Da Man! Gonna make that block course a bit harder for you guys next time... Not distance wise... Just Muzzy Style Wise! :D
... mike ...
Hello Mike :wavey: Love you Bro. wish the distance was less :banghead:
Looked like fun!
Looks like a great time!!
Bill
Mike is without a doubt the "host of hosts"!
Picture Perfect location, great company and always great food!!!!
It's always great to meet new folks that seem to show up every year. And for those that normally attend and didn't make it (you know who you are Charlie, Sean, Izzy, Glen), we missed you!
Curt - it was great to finally meet you. Same goes for Terry! We certainly look forward to having Cade up there flinging arrows with us in the future!
I always look forward to Mike's "early" shoot....it's fun to get out in the snow and loose (and lose) some arrows. Although, this year, the weather was pretty nice......certainly didn't need all the wool I brought with me!!!
BTW - NEVER bet against Curt when you are shooting at Muzzy blocks!!!!! That man is deadly on those little foam blocks!!
Thanks for taking photos Curt. When I do remember to bring a camera, it somehow ends up staying in my pocket. :knothead:
Mike - I always feel welcome when I'm at your piece of heaven on earth. You end up doing all the cooking, but I must say, you certainly have a knack for turning my old cow moose meat into something delicious! I can never thank you enough for your generosity.
All-in-all, it was a great day spent in the company of fellow tradgangers, doing what we love to do.
:campfire:
Thanks for the pics!!!
Looks like a lot of fun!
Awesome Curt! Great photos...especially like the first one of Mikey in the kitchen! Love the setting of the home!
Mikey just want to say thanks again ..... :knothead: :knothead: :knothead:
Anyhow thanks Mikey !!
Trab

Thanks again Mikey!
Great photos Curt..That was a great day with great folks..
Looks like a ton of fun!!
I now know why Cade shoots so well, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree is all I can say, All those guys were good shooters, and nice people, Mike is a great host.
Thanks to all for making this city boy feel welcomed.
Looks like a great time. Never a bad one when a bunch of trad archers get together to do what they lover. Thanks for bringing us along.
Curt,
I really enjoyed "re-living" the day thru your pics!
So much fun, great guys and great shooting by all!
Mike is such a good man (and host) to get together these, well, "get-togethers"!
I enjoyed meeting (and shootin') with you & all the guys there.
Keith
Only trad archers would get out in the cold and snow and shoot a bunch of arrows. Great story and photos Curt. Thanks for sharing guys.
Thank You Again Everyone... :notworthy: ... I Love Doin' It!
... mike ...
