Did you really think I was going to post them up just yet??? :bigsmyl:
I have a few boxes here at the house (still unopened and will be that way till the night of the contest) from around the country, and by reading the names they came from, this is going to be an amazing event to just say I was lucky enough to enter with the likes of them...and yes, my entry is stood up and blocked out in this pic.
In just under 2 weeks there will be a National Champion. Will it be you? Only way to find out is to get your entry in to the contest. Good luck to any and all who enter.
Can't wait to see the final results. Hope to be able to enter next year. And by the way Mike, that wasn't very nice to tease like that! Lol
If your not coming this year Mike, you are going to be missing a heck of a good time.
I know. It's just not in the cards this year. Thinking about telling the kids that Santa is taking next year off so I can afford all of the winter events next year, lol.
Is this gonna be a super double secret arrow creation. Just a thought How about calling Guiness Book of World Records and have them award it as the most hand crafted arrow in the world. And stop teasing us, I feel like I'm 6 and its Christmas eve.
Best of luck to yah Mike
Thanks guys, but from just some of the people who have sent in entries, this is going to be fun just to say I was in it with them. I don't think you need to call the Guiness people just yet...thanks for the nice words though.
Cant wait to see your entry for this year...I remember last years entry...pretty cool...good luck...
Mike do you guys auction the arrows off at the end? If not they could make some nice St.Jude items.

Yep, everything gets auctioned off. ALL OUT-of-state entries auction totals will be donated to the Professional Bowhnters Society youth hunt, along with their entry fees. All IN-state entries auction totals will go back into the MLA coffers. Anybody can bid, you don't even need to be present to bid, just know someone who is going to be there, and bid over the phone.
Who wouldn't want to own the 1st National Contest winner's arrows? You could buy them and then offer them up for St. Judes Auction if that is what you like.
Whoever the winner is, I will be doing what I can to be the high bidder.
TTT for the other entries to post a hint of what they created
I'd like to hear more about the contest

Here you go. Started promoting it on June 9th, 2012.

Well, good news is the Banquet is filled to capacity. We completely sold all the tickets for the banquet. The bad news is that you all are going to have to wait to see any arrows just like myself. In 4 more days, we will have a clear National Contest Winner.
I suspect it's going to be tough competition to get into the top 3 for the prizes, but I'm pretty sure I'll at least get a T shirt out of the deal
Thom
Tonight is the night. Good luck to all who entered. I will get pictures posted of the arrows and their descriptions tomorrow morning.
Good luck everybody! Thanks for putting this together Mike!!!!
The kids and I are looking forward to casting our votes tonight.
The agenda for the evening is goin to be filled with loads of fun and entertainment, not to mention, the food is fabulous...all for the unbelievably low price of $15. The value of being a member just keeps increasing.
Bumming I waited to long to get tickets....My loss
Is this a PBS contest for members only or is this a National Arrow Contest for anyone that wants to enter.
I will try to attend next year Mike.
Craig this one was open to anyone. Next year it will be help by the PBS I believe.
I had donated a dozen in a display box years ago to the PBS that auctioned off for $1,600.00. It was a really cool feeling knowing where the money was going.
