I need to make some flu flu's for my 6 and 10 year old daughters. I am looking for just the shafts that come in the various colors. Does anyone know where to just get the shafts.???? They are both shooting a 15 lb bow.....Thanks, Scott
You can use wooden dowels from the big depot stores and paint or use rit dye to stain them colors. It would be way cheaper than any other shafts.
What he said.
1/4" poplar dowels will be perfect.

Thats what my kids shoot. 1/4 Poplar dowels. They shoot great out of small bows. You can get 1/4 points from the nocking point. Great prices there and fast shipping. They have the nocks too.
Talk to Rob Green. He goes by Green on here. I think his business is under Kid Stix Youth Arrows.
I bought some amazing arrows and shafts from him for My grandaughter.
He had a half dz. arrows made up in a nice Girly pattern. I asked if he could do some matching shafts for me for some Flu-Flus. Took him less than a week to fill My order and the Cresting matched perfect.

I broke my leg at work and I am laid up for 3 months with 6-8 months of rehab..Trying to keep my girls into it, so I need to order stuff and we can fletch them together..I'll look up Green and see if he can't get me going..Thanks guys..Scott
Sorry about Your leg Brother. Happy Healing
I bought a bag of the spiral wrap Flu-Flu feathers from 3 rivers. They are ground thinner and come in lots of bright colors. Great price also.

I'm not sure I'd use spiral wrap flu-flus on a little arrow like that. The spiral fletch slows the arrow down so well I'd be worried that the arrow wouldn't go more than about fifteen feet.

I use a halh of a full length feather & get two or so wraps on the 5/16 shafts I make up for my 6 Y.O. grandson.
Only using half the feather makes sense. I hereby withdraw my "not sure about that..."
Guy
Mr. Green has me set up guys, thanks for all the info....Scott
