I am now 100% officially addicted to building and shooting wood arrows!
Thought I would build something a bit brighter and a bit old school for 3D. Poplar shafts and turkey nanners from Magnus.

No dip tube. I haven't bought much equipment yet. These started out with a grey stain/pickled white combo that went south. The white is spray paint and the blue is craft paint. Hand did some sharpie crests, wipe-on poly coated and done.
Mike its a great feeling! Can't wait to hunt with some.
Wait till you "misplace" one at the range. You will look for hours before you move on, and still wonder where it could be...or so I have been told. :biglaugh:

Yep.... it'll happen good looking arrows..
Nice job  Your arrows look AWESOMEEE :archer2:
I built a set of woodies when I first started shooting trad. Then I joined an indoor 3d league in the winter and every time I broke one I almost cried! It was like hurting one of my kids! Now that my accuracy has improved some I've been thinking about switching back. Your posts of these beautiful shafts might push me over the edge.
NICE!
First ones?....Damn fine job sir
Looking Good! KY :archer:
Nice looking arrows Rob, and I really like your Red Wing Hunter! One of the best vintage bows out there! :clapper:
