Has anyone heard of Bear Paw guide service in Grygla, MN? Its run by a guy by the name of Joe Riehl? Thinking of bear hunting in MN this fall.

One of my former employees had land neighboring to where this guy had his operation. I don't remember him saying anything negative, but that isn't much of an endoersement. Sadly the employee is no longer with us so I can't provide any resource.
There is lots of state land up in that area, but establishing bait sites is a pain if you don't live close by.

I do have a suggestion for you I will PM it to you.

I hunted with Joe last fall in the no quote area the 2nd week of Sept,the weather was hot and windy most of the week and didnt see a bear on the bait,the guys in zone 12 did some better,I think He is an honest guy that knows what Hes doing,it just wasnt happening that week,I am hoping for zone 12 this fall.
