Im so jazzed! this weekend I found in my local pawnshop a pair of vintage leitz trinovids 8x20s in perfect condition.
these have got to be some of the best compact binoculars ever made, and for me personally had become a bit of a search for the holy grail. I couldnt talk them down as much in price as I would have liked but at 225 bucks I think they were well worth the price.
my father has had a pair of the leupold branded ones, for years and I always pined over them. well finally I found a pair of my own :)

if you ever stumble across a pair of these or ones similar, pick them up, they are amazing quality and clarity for the diminutive size, some of the best I have ever seen at any price.

yes, my hunting trips live and die by my optics. Im sure your in the same boat, I have been to bend a couple of times and its a beautiful area of the west, with some very open spaces.
Great glass, plus they slide right into our shirt pocket well and stay out of the way.
I got the same recently off **** for the same price. Love those little rascals. Great glass and so small and light you forget you have them until you need them.
Mine were stolen from my car :(
